Sydney Buffalo is a medium to broad leaf Buffalo that has a good drought tolerance but isn’t as drought tolerant as some of the other varieties of buffalo out there.
Its durability is high which provides families and pets with a soft surface to enjoy and relax. It also shows a great recovery rate if there is any damage or excessive wear to the lawn.
Its maintenance remains low like all Buffalo grass, and due to its thickness and tight matt, weeds are prevented from growing through.

Similar to Shade Master Soft leaf Buffalo, Sydney Buffalo would be an ideal choice for family lawns, high traffic areas, medium to high shaded areas (up to 70% shade) and full sun.
Sydney Buffalo, has a good colour retention during the winter months. It will discolour if there is frost or extreme cold temperatures, but will recover and retains its colour once the weather warms up.
